Below is a list of the cats who are currently in Wired Whisker care as well as our alumni. While we do our best to keep this page updated, some cats may already have adoptions in progress. The best way to find out if a cat is still available is to call us at (218) 481-7107 or stop by the cafe!

About Our Cats

14-Day Introduction Hold
All new cats enter a 14-day introduction hold. This allows them time to settle in, ensures they are healthy, and helps our staff get to know their personalities. We begin accepting adoption applications after the hold period ends. Applications received before the hold is complete will not be processed.

Colony Cats
Many of the adoptable cats currently in our care come from a colony shelter, meaning they have spent much, if not all, of their lives living closely with other cats. Because of this background, we’ve found that they thrive emotionally and socially when placed in homes with other feline companions. Unless otherwise noted, all of the cats at Wired Whisker are looking to go to homes that already have a cat or are looking to adopt a pair or more from us. Their comfort in group settings is part of what makes them so at home in our cat lounge!

Please note, due to the high level of visibility to prospective adopters, cats at Wired Whisker often receive multiple adoption applications. In this case, we seek to find the purrfect match for the cat and for the person, and are committed to helping all approved adopters find their cat(s).

    Captain and Conner are two adorable 8-month-old black void kitties who balance each other beautifully. Sleek, shiny, and full of charm, these boys may look similar at first glance, but their personalities make them wonderfully unique.

    Conner is the bold explorer of the duo. Super adventurous and curious, he’s always the first to investigate a new sound, toy, or room. Captain, on the other hand, is the quieter soul. He’s a bit shyer and more thoughtful, preferring to observe before jumping in. With patience and gentle encouragement, Captain’s sweet personality shines through, especially when he feels safe and comfortable.

    Together, Captain and Conner make a perfect pair: one brave, one bashful, both full of potential and love. With time, kindness, and consistency, they’ll grow into affectionate, loyal companions who bring a touch of mystery and a lot of heart to their forever home.

    They love to chase anything that moves whether its toys, each other, or even imaginary targets, turning every day into an action-packed adventure. Their playful antics will keep you entertained as they zoom through the room in perfect brotherly sync.

    When the excitement winds down, Cavatappi and Cavatelli transform into total cuddlebugs. Whether they’re curled up together or snuggled in close to their favorite people, they’re happiest when they’re sharing warmth and affection.     Because she can be a little skittish, Beans will need to go to a home with a friendly, confident kitty who can help show her the ropes or she can be adopted with one of her cat lounge buddies.
