Grab your walking shoes and join us on International Cat Day for Duluth’s first ever Walking Cat Tour!

Inspired by John Edwards’ walking cat tours in the Wedge neighborhood of Minneapolis, this community stroll will stop along a ~3 mile roundtrip loop of Wired Whisker to peer at various kitties in nearby homes along our route. You might even spot a few Wired Whisker Alumni!

Meet at Wired Whisker at 10:00 a.m. (we will depart as a group around 10:30 a.m.)

FAQs

Q: What is a walking cat tour?
A: A walking cat tour involves a group of cat-loving humans who stroll together and spot cats in windows. The homes we will be stopping at know we are coming and have registered to show us their kitties.

Q: How many cats will we be spotting along our walk?
A: Between 10-20 cats. We will have a dedicated web page with a walking map as well as photos and bios of all of the kitties on our route for you to follow along.

Q: How long is the walk?
A: Roughly 3 miles

Q: Where does the walk start and end?
A: We well do a roundtrip loop of Wired Whisker at 1823 E Superior Street, Duluth, MN, 55812.

Q: Where can we park?
A: Street parking is available along E Superior Street as well as in the unpaved parking lots of REVIVE Church up 19th Ave.

Q: Where will be be walking?
A: On the city sidewalks for pedestrians

Q: Can I bring my own cat along with for the walk?
A: While we understand the desire to bring your own cat along on our walk, our official recommendation is to leave your kitties in the comfort and safety of their homes. Please be mindful that this will be a high stimulus environment that may be stressful for your cat as well as others'. If you do choose to bring your own cat, please be aware that the cafe has a no pets policy, but animals are welcome on our patio! Should you decide to bring your cat, please have a stroller, backpack, or other safe-zone for your cat to retreat should they become overstimulated at any time during the walk.

Any other questions, please don't hesitate to post or reach out to info@wiredwhisker.com!
